Made from solid carbide, each bit contains up cut and down cut flutes. This flute design creates a compression cut that prevents fraying and splintering. Compression spirals will save you time and money on finishing your projects edges by reducing sanding time. This bit has the added feature of shorter up cut flutes, allowing the down shear cutting action to the top surface during shallow cuts.

• TOOL SPECS: Solid carbide, 2+2 mortise compression spiral with 3/8" cutting diameter, 3/8" shank, 1" cutting length, and 2-1/2" overall length for use in routers with a 3/8" collet.
